- Josie A brilliant little cob! 12.2h, 9yo mare. Very sweet temperament and good to handle. Loves attention and fuss. Safe, forward going, fun ride. Always in a snaffle, she isn’t strong - she’ll stay in walk, trot, canter (whatever you’re asking) and listens to her rider. Stands still to be mounted. She never bucks, rears or naps and isn’t a shooty or spooky pony either. She’s a fun, happy pony with a heart of gold and enjoys her work. Loves to jump! Would make a fab jumping & PC pony as well as happy hacking. Pops over 75cm with ease. Good on lead. Has done RDA lead rein at a riding school for the last year, in the school and out hacking. Hacks out sensibly. Alone or in company, first or last. Good in traffic, has been over motorway bridges and fine with big lorries and tractors. Goes through the water and loves to jump the logs. Josie is a great first or second pony for a rider that wants to have heaps of fun with her! Or a lead rein that will learn to ride her off lead. She suits a rider that likes a safely forward pony rather than a kick along ploddy type. A really genuine, lovely pony that tries to please you and is so willing to do anything you ask of her. Up to date with everything- vaccinated and barefoot. No health issues or vices. Essex
