Colin is a loving pony who really enjoys hacking. He is not a spooky pony and will happily be ridden alone or in company – he is not bothered by crab flies and always gives 100%.
He lives out, as he has asthma, with one other gelding but is happy to be left on his own when they go out. His asthma is managed easily with no hay and only feeding haylage.
Colin loves to jump on the forest and enjoys cross country when we have taken him but has a very busy mind so can get bored in the school. He does school nicely but this isn’t his favourite job. He is a fun, cheeky character although his eagerness can lead to him being strong on the ground.
He went to pony club senior camp last summer but ideally we are looking for a hacking home who enjoys some jumping on the forest or at home and perhaps the odd bit of schooling/lesson/clinic. We haven’t hunted him but this may be something he enjoys.
We have owned him for 3 years and our daughter has now moved onto a 14.2.
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and physio.
The right home is very important to us.
