- Description
- Ernie is the most loveable chap, with the sweetest nature. I backed him myself last year and he was then turned away for winter. He came back into work in the spring of 2023 and is now ready to find his new home. Ernie is going to make someone a fantastic little pony. He has taken to a ridden career like a duck to water, schools beautifully in all 3 paces and he is incredibly brave, has never been phased by any fillers etc. He has been to a few outings, jumping a clear round at only his second ever outing and coming 2nd in his first ever dressage test with 65%. We have taken Ernie into an open field and he didn’t get sharp or silly. He is good to hack in company and alone, good to load. We have never clipped Ernie but he loves a groom and will stand for hours, so I’m sure with time he would take to clipping if it means a bit of attention!! You will also never struggle to catch him, as soon as he sees a human he is straight over to the fence to say hello. I am in no rush to sell him, if he does not sell now I will keep him until next year to produce him further. He will only be sold to the right home, no novices please
