- Description
- 16.1 7 year old bay gelding - can come with all his tack including a new fitted saddle.
On behalf of his owner. Sid is with me to find a new home, His owner has just had a baby by c section.
Sid was going lovely with her but then they had mirrors put up in the school and he wasn’t introduced properly and he was scared of them and didn’t want to go into that corner of the school. He has been ridden in a school with mirrors already in before (I have a vid of this) they were too novice to ride him forwards and help him get over it so then just hacked him, since being with me he’s been schooling and jumping lovely and hacking well alone and in company.
Exceptionally priced with or without his tack just for a quick sale.
This is his add he was purchased off which for the reason stated above I no longer stand by the novice part so for this reason no complete novices please as I can’t warrant that he would suit. He’s come back and schooled well in our school, we don’t have mirrors. He may be absolutely fine if the school had them in first and not suddenly popping up one day then not given the correct introduction but I would say it may be better for him to find a home as a hunter/happy hacker or somewhere that doesn’t have mirrors!
Reasonably priced to find him a new home before Xmas, if he doesn’t sell in the meantime which I highly doubt he will stay and do more here and price will increase.
Enjoys hacking and will be the best and safest horse to hack and do everything with you could ever come across for the money.
Sid has come from a private home with full history known, he was brought as a 5 year old and slowly produced by 14 year old and her mum. He has hunted with both and done 2 seasons in a snaffle and stands like a rock at the meet and is sensible.
Done lots of other activities including pub rides, beach rides, pony club rallies, dressage, odes.
Hacks out alone and in company and good in open spaces he is a lovely low level allrounder and isint going anywhere in a hurry!
Isn't fussed by anything tractors, trailers, tractors and big trailers, lorry’s, motor bikes, busses.
Perfect mother/daughter share. Would be good for dressage as works well on the flat.
He has done a little bit of school work since being here as well as hacking and has had a nice tune up with all of that but is still a bit green in some aspects with his schooling but is very honest and willing. He pops a fence well and is super honest and willing and not a stopper and has seen xc fences.
Easy uncomplicated ride, safe, more woah then go, not strong or sharp would suit a teen or mother/daughter share. Very happy chappy out hacking and with whatever he does.
Good in the stable, to clip, shoe, bath, tack up ect.
Genuinely just a lovely person to be around and loved attention and his food!
No injuries, up to date with vaccinations, just had a fresh set of shoes
No lumps, bumps, sarcoids or anything, clean legs and in good health with no concerns
Tack available by separate negotiation
