- Beechwood Hugh - 4 yo handsome bay gelding. Raced once as a 2 yo and 4 times as a 3 yo. Hugh was ridden on for a few weeks after racing and took a very straightforward and steady approach under saddle. The videos are last July when I purchased him. He has been a companion horse to our young cob so has had a good year of down time to mature and enjoy being a young horse. He has been handled daily and is up to date with teeth worming jabs. He’s pretty laid back in his manner seems to take things in his stride and has a presence about him. He also travels well in a trailer and rear facing box van. Hugh will need to be restarted and would be a great project. He is now ready to go on and find his new home 🏡 based in Bristol southwest. Please note Hugh is sold from the field and has not been ridden whilst with me. I’ve recently had him shod and will include summer and winter rugs. A loving home is essential for this nice handsome boy, he will be fabulous next year.
