Description: PENUMBRA (Penny) 5yo 15.3hh Thoroughbred bright bay mare. Sadly looking for a new 🏡 due to education commitments. Has been lightly raced and is therefore ROR eligible. Retired from racing with no injuries. A compact, short coupled horse who has completed an unaffiliated intro dressage test and goes to regular training sessions with Pam Prickett at Myerscough college. Could go on to do any discipline; lovely paces and a big scopey jump. Currently performing basic schooling movements, transitions, poles, popping fences - all in a snaffle. She has had lots of down time in the field to mature as she was rather thin and weak when we brought her home in July 2023. She is still green and a little unbalanced but has progressed gaining condition, strength and experience. Only vice - can weave when she’s excited for feed or waiting to be turned out with her horsey friends. Has been on hacks, fell rides and beach rides. Travels well. Would suit a competent, confident teenager or small adult with experience to bring her on to produce her to her full potential. An exciting project horse who we believe would make a cracking event horse.
