- Honest and talented, ideal eventer! Owen is a 4 year old purebred Connemara gelding, he is standing at 14.2hh at the moment with more to grow, he will easily grow to 15hh. He is a real talented gelding with a super jump, he loves cross country and is easy to ride and straight forward, taking every fence in his stride, he is brave and honest, jumps water, ditches, coffins and banks, ears always forward looking for the next fence. He jumps coloured fences up to 1 meter with potential to jump higher, he loose jumps over 1.10m with ease. Owen is easy to hack out, alone or in company, he is good in traffic. He is nicely schooled on the flat, he has a soft snaffle mouth and is easy to ride into an outline, Owen is an ideal horse for teenagers moving up from smaller ponies or mother daughter share. He will make a beautiful horse in the future. Owen is straight mover he has three nice paces, a lovely canter, comfortable to sit, he is easy to ride into the fences with a soft mouth. He has a super future ahead as an event horse! Owen is a purebred Connemara with recorded breeding, his Sire is Derrada Owen who is by Ballinavilla Prince. Ballinavilla Prince's son Sea Storm was the 2018 Puissance winner, clearing the wall at 1metre 55cms. Owens dam is by Dunally Lad, a well known Stallion who has competed at several shows and always came home with a ribbon, he is a stunning Class 1 stallion! The damsire is Coral Prince, Supreme Champion and Sire of several performance ponies. Owen is an amazing Pony inside and out, he is easy to shoe, box, catch, ride and in traffic. He is amazing to jump around cross country, would be ideal for hunter trials, hunting or eventing. He has no stable vices and is open for any vetting. Price includes delivery to your Yard in UK.
