- 15hh Welsh Sec D Mare 5yrs Old She is a typical Welsh, She has seen a little bit of everything since we’ve had her but we’ve kept it all very low level due to her age. She has been out to a few dressage shows since we have had her and has done really well winning 2 of the classes and receiving lovely comments from the judges; as well as being very elevated and elastic she’s a real head turner, knows all of the basic lateral movements. I feel that a dressage/ showing home is where she would really excel, but equally she has a big jump on her, she’s got great conformation and clean legs. Snaffle mouthed. I have concentrated mainly on her flat work as this it what I enjoy. But I have taken her XC schooling and a few Jump arena hires and she was improving each time but I’m not brave jumping. She hacks alone and in company but does take confidence from the rider when on her own, she is good in open spaces. Has been over the M25 bridge and has seen some traffic, bikes etc. She is not a novice ride as she is still young and needs someone to continue her education. She is forward but isn’t strong. She has thrown the odd excitable buck. She’s very friendly, loves a cuddle and fuss not mareish at all. Great manners. Up to date with vaccines, worming, physio, dentist, feet (barefoot). Good for the dentist, farrier and we have clipped her once and she was good just did not like it near her head Based in Surrey Videos on request, please no time wasters.
