- Much loved pony for very sad sale:( Elmo is a good 13.2hh, 6yr old welsh B x knab sports pony. He is kind, loving and safe with a sprinkling of spice. He is NOT a first pony due to his age however he looks after the smallest of riders on the leadrein. He has bags of potential to progress to event/SJ or excel in any discipline in the right hands. He has fantastic breeding, stunning looks, lovely movement and a cracking jump. He is very mature for his age and has seen lots. Has done area dressage, unaff SJ, hunter trials, ODE, showcross, fun rides and goes out training every week. He is responsive to the leg but has breaks. We have taken our time to ensure he is produced correctly, kept things small to build confidence whilst he matures and is now ready to step up. Been competing prelim dressage and upto 70cm SJ and jumping 80cm+ at home with ease. Hacks alone and in company. Can stick in a buck in when excited ( normally cantering behind others in large open spaces or if proud of his amazing jump ability!) so needs a capable and confident rider, not for a novice. However he can be lazy too and can be left for days/ weeks and get straight back on. Always rode in a snaffle. Handled from a baby by Josh and broken and ridden away purely by him too. Now having new children ride him too. Easy to do in all ways lord, travel, bath, clip, farrier ( bare foot) etc Upto date with vaccines, dentist, physio etc Not in a rush to sell and finding the right home is extremely important. If he was a hand bigger he would never have to leave 🥲 plenty of videos available
