- 13.3 Welsh x Mare We have owned Chloe for 4 years. In that time there is nothing she hasn’t done with us. She is the kindest mare, beautiful inside and out. Never marish, good to catch, lead, load, clip, shoe etc. Away from home…. She has done 3 seasons of pony club, clinics, farm rides, fun rides, beach rides, showing, horse holidays away from home. She never changes and is always reliable. Never silly. She has also been used to lead youngsters and show them the way. If you’re after a simple, safe pony to enjoy yourself or to take your child out then Chloe is the pony for you. She is a forward, touch button ride not ploddy in any way. Has a lovely active walk. Hacking….. I’d say she is as bombproof in traffic as they come, excellent in open spaces, hacks alone or in company. Will lead or go behind. She can be left for weeks/months and jumped straight back on. I cannot fault this pony in the whole time we have owned her. She has never bolted, bucked or reared. Schooling… In the school she is well behaved and doesn’t nap but can sometimes rush in canter. Not lazy more forward but not silly. Jumping…. Happy to pop logs, jumps on fun rides, farm rides etc. I wouldn’t say she is a jumping pony . I think Chloe would be happiest in a home as an ultimate happy hacker / pony club pony with a competent child. Perfect for someone who wants to get out and enjoy her at beach rides, farm rides and fun rides and pop the odd xc jump. She is my daughters safe pony and I always know she will look after her and my child will come back safely. She is fine so lightweight riders only please. I’d say a max of 9 1/2 stone Only 5* homes will be considered for this special girl. She has no vices, lumps or bumbs, never had lami and is upto date with the dentist Open to 5* vetting She is 1 in a million
