Description: 12.2hh (not measured), 7yrs 2017, Welsh B part bred chestnut mare by Witko Cool Cat Red is exceptionally pretty, she is calm and kind, a child's best friend. She is easy to handle, good for the farrier (currently barefoot), to lead, load etc. we have never clipped her as she doesn't grow much coat. She lives in or out, with or without company. She has no vices, never had laminitis, does not have sweet itch and can eat rich grass/haylage without putting on weight. Red is a very talented and careful jumping pony, she is not spooky at planks or fillers. She is happy jumping 50cm but has won BS at 80 (on a ticket) and jumps round 1m+ at home. Red could very easily make it as a top 128 BS pony as she has all the scope, speed and talent required. She rides in a good rhythm, fast against the clock without rushing and doesn't pull. Ridden in a flexible rubber snaffle for all disciplines. Red is an excellent hack, good alone or in company and with all types of traffic. Safe in open spaces including the beach. I don't know if she's ever done a XC course but she schools nicely over XC fences, proving bold and brave over ditches, steps, water etc. Red has been very good and generous to a nervous young child, she has held his hand doing very small courses very slowly. He has outgrown her and we would like to see Red find a home with a confident lightweight rider that wants to jump big fences fast as we know she will enjoy that.
