- Freddie Fly c 14.1hh 13 yrs. Based in West Sussex. An experienced event pony that knows and loves his job. We have kept him grassroots/but potential for more. For sale to an experienced competition home, good to hack but not a “happy hacker” or a “mr cuddles” but great on our family yard with loud grandchildren, bikes, dogs and cats. Good to shoe, great to load/travel horsebox and trailer. Fabulous/easy in a competition setting. He was first competed by a lightwight experienced adult rider who introduced him to eventing, winning at BE90 and regularly top 10 BE100/105. Clear Unaffiliated sj upto and including 1.10 We kept him grassroots for my grandchild to take on. 2022 my inexperienced 13 yr old grand-daughter took him on and had a fantastic first year. He took her quickly from 70 cms to 100 ode/sj/arena eventing. 2022 Qualified for BRC 100 3DE championships (didnt go as clashed with Pony Club championships) BRC arena eventing teams qualifying for 2023 arena eventing championships (they won) Qualified for NSEA sj team championships (oct22) and arena eventing 1st 100 PC ODE june 22 Third at PC area sj and Team 1st. qualifying both as an individual and team for championships, only competed in team event Team 3rd at National Pony Club Championships Qualified in team for PC Novice Championships Dressage Lots of sj and arena eventing top 3 placings. 2023 April Team first at BRC arena eventing championships 100 cms June….1st individual and team first at PC 100 showjumping. June …2nd with double clear at BRC 100 ODE qualifying for nationals August qualified for PC nationals in 100 eventing, intermediate dressage and individual 100 sj.
