- Rueben is an attractive and eye-catching 3yo gelding currently standing just shy of 16.2 He is AES registered and has some top class bloodlines being out of a DiMaggio x Weltmeyer mare and by SSF Romeo (Negro x Furst Romancier) who passes on his fantastic temperament and paces to his offspring. SSF Romeo is proving to be a versatile stallion with offspring competing in dressage, Eventing and showjumping. Rueben has been well handled and is a pleasure to deal with on the ground and have on the yard with a wonderful temperament. He has three attractive, uphill paces with an active hind leg and is sure to score highly in the dressage arena. We have loose jumped Rueben once which he proved bold and careful so could also make a smart all rounder/eventer. Since coming to us Rueben has been lightly backed with the main focus being on hacking and getting out to see the world both in company and alone. He has been in the school a handful of times and is confidently walk, trot, canter showing off his impressive paces which he has so much more to give too as he gets stronger. He doesn’t have any vices and has been good to catch and farrier. He hasn’t travelled much so took about 5 minutes for him to load and once on travelled super along country lanes and motorway. We think he could really excel in the dressage arena up the levels with his impressive uphill paces and trainable attitude. He could also potentially event/high level all rounder as he proved bold and careful the one time he’s loose jumped with us. The owner is asking £10,500 and the right home is of upmost importance. He is based near Cullompton (15mins from J27 of the M5). We are also happy to discuss him staying on with us to finish backing and riding away should the new wish for him to.
