Heartbreaking sale of Doylan Gold by Gucci. She is a beautiful pony with lovely, floaty paces. She easily keeps up with our 15.3hh on hacks. Has been to some local shows, lessons and arena hires and was lovely, placing second in the in hand trec a few weeks ago. She’s completely unfazed by the obstacles and at home we can walk her on tarpaulins/ show her umbrellas/ rub her with bags etc. She loads and travels perfectly. Is great for the farrier (barefoot), easy to catch and handled by children. She’s currently on schooling livery and getting good reports (her left canter does need some work). Happy going over poles and small jumps. We bought her in August and she passed a 5 stage vetting then. Up to date with vaccinations and teeth.
Unfortunately, she has an issue with mounting (particularly new people) and hence is being sold from the field and as a project (and is priced accordingly). When we first had her she bucked my son off when mounting. Within a few weeks he was on and off her without issue, including during saddle fittings when he was getting on and off all the time. He was always a nervous rider though and has never got his trust back with her. She also has a scar on her nose. This was from a cut as a foal and causes no issues.
