- Fabulous all-rounder/schoolmaster. Full-up 14h with beautiful, balanced paces. By Templebready Bo'Sun. Bought 2 years ago for my 11yr old daughter, he has brought her on from being nervous of courses at 60cm to representing her Pony Club branch at all disciplines up to 85cm, with wins and placings at ODE, dressage, SJ and WHP. Most recently they were 4th at the national NSEA championships at Addington in the 80/85cm combined training. He has schooled round bigger SJ and XC with his ears pricked. He finds his stride to a fence easily. Together they have done countless Pony Club rallies, camp, fancy dress, beach rides and group hacks and he has been brilliant. My daughter feels very safe on him. He never hots up or bucks and does not need to be ridden regularly. He is a forward-going pony though, so would not suit a child that wanted a 'kick-along' type. He did lots of WHP with his previous owner, including winning the championship at a county show, but this isn't something we've pursued. Not at all spooky, fine with SJ fillers, dogs and farm machinery. Hacks happily alone or in company. Always keen to get on the trailer/lorry and travels and waits at shows quietly. He is easy to catch, clip, with dentist & farrier and up to date with physio, worming and vaccinations. He had an annular ligament injury over a year ago, but had the best treatment and was rehabbed very carefully. He has done PC camp and endless competitions (including eventing) since then without any problem. I will happily share vet records and answer any questions. His price reflects this veterinary history.
