11.3hh registered Welsh sec A, 17 years old. Been there done it all. Fantastic lead rein/first/second ridden.
Currently been used for lead rein and pony clubbed in previous homes.
The good:
-Lovely steady and slow pony on lead - more woah than go - just follows his leader everywhere
- Easily changes gears for more competent jockey
-Loves hacking and jumping, getting out and about
-Nice mover and naturally up off forehand (much to my surprise I enjoy riding him - I’m 5.2)
-all up to day with vacc, feet etc
-Saint on the ground with little ones
-Loves to be groomed and made a fuss of
The not so good:
-Best in regular work
-If not in regular work very occasionally bucks going in to canter with more competent rider (never done anything on lead rein)
- Although excellent when tied up he will take an opportunity when he sees it and tow a child to the nearest patch of grass!
Daughter lacking interest, and too big currently for my twins (just turned 2) - wasted doing the occasional 5 mins in the school with them.
Fun pony ideally suited to leas rein/just coming off lead rein or second ridden to do learn and have fun on, do pony club etc
