- Heartbreaking sale. 17hh (still growing) 6yo KWPN mare. Mary has done just about everything with me in the 3 years I have owned her. She's an extremely sweet, kind and intelligent mare. She has always been placed when out no matter what discipline. 1st and 2nd at her first ever dressage tests, numerous top 3 placings at hunter trials up to 80cm and 4th at her first ever ODE to name a few. Hound exercised and hunted the 21/22 season. Done beach rides, fun rides and everything in between. Like I say she is a very intelligent mare, quick and willing learner and loves having a job. Unfortunately due to change in circumstances I can no longer do her any justice, with no facilities at our farm and with my work hours she cannot get the time she deserves. She has lived on a working farm the whole time I have had her. Great with cows and machinery. Great to Hack alone and in company as this all I have been able to do with no school. 100% to catch, shoe, clip and load. She is the sweetest mare on the ground. Really heartbreaking and tough decision that has taken me months to come to terms with. She is currently unfit and been out of work for a few months, She was turned away over winter to have a break, being a youngster, to allow her to have some chill time to grow and mature. Since then has been hacked a handful of times but I am just not finding the time to do this. She would need someone to bring her back into full work slowly but more then happy to let someone have a ride about in the field or up the lanes. Open to any vet. 5* home only. No novices. Does have very mild sweet itch but we are right next to river and cattle sheds so terrible for midges but I have always found it really mild and easy to keep on top of with her rug.
