- 14.3 9 year old cob mare. River is a nice forward and responsive type. She’s light on her feet and loves to jump. River has been in her current home for 14 months where she’s been doing PC, lessons, unaffiliated comps and attended local county show. She’s good to catch, lives in or out. She’s good for farrier, is currently barefoot as fantastic solid feet. A bit weary of clippers but ok if you take your time. Good to load and travel. Good in all traffic and non spooky. River would suit a confident child or a mother/child share or an adult as She takes the leg up well. Rivers down side is can try a small nap with a nervous or more inexperienced rider. It’s nothing nasty, just a veer towards the arena gate or a hesitation leaving the yard when hacking. She does not pursue it and with a rider that sends her forward she doesn’t even bother. I have videos for people interested. She’s a super fun little horse, I think she’d be a fantastic hunting pony. Just not a ‘first horse’ type as I think she’d take the mick 🤣 She’s open to any vetting/inspection. Has no health issue/sarcoids/lumps or bumps. Up to date with everything. £7500 but sensible offers are welcomed as she’s now outgrown and her owners are keen to find her a new partner to have fun with. Her tack is also available.
