Description
5 yr old 13.2h piebald cob mare: Very difficult decision and honest ad. I am very sadly looking to find Podge a lovely new forever home due to not having the time she really needs🥺 Podge is a fun little pony that is quick to learn and goes easy off the leg, she is not a kick along, so is not suitable for a novice. She is still learning as she is only 5 so would suit a competent rider (or a mother daughter share may suit or small adult). She is the type of pony who does well in consistent, frequent correct work. I have owned podge for 2.5 years and whilst with me she has attended a flat work camp, done lots of hacking both solo and in company, we also took part in a parade ride in memory of the queen. I have worked a bit on ground work along with the occasional lessons too. She is bombproof in traffic and not phased by heavy machinery, has been lead off the quad bike and we also believe she has been driven with previous owners. Podge does love to jump and I believe she could do great in a pony club home. Her markings are also lovely and therefore she could do well showing. I have only had her for leisure riding as I am just a happy hacker! She loves to be groomed, golden to be bathed and can really form a bond with you, she isn’t mareish to handle at all. Good to catch, load and for the farrier, good to be clipped on her body and face but needs sedation/ twitch for her legs (nothing nasty but just snatches her feet). Up to date with her teeth, vaccinations and worming. Can live in a mixed herd. Fine to live out or be stabled. This is an extremely hard sale for me so please no time wasters, or joy riders. I want Podge to go to an experienced, loving & forever home as she truly is a wonderful pony. She makes everyone on the yard smile! (open to offers for best home) - can come with newly fitted saddle, bridle, couple of rugs and head collar (cost to be discussed) Plenty more videos and pictures on SERIOUS request/ enquiry. I am in absolutely no rush to sell her as finding her the right 5 ⭐️ home is most important. Ideally someone who wants to keep in touch so I can see her doing well 🩷 as this decision has not come lightly.
