"Lucinda" is a lovely middle-weight cob mare, standing at approx 14.1hh and rising 7 years old. Lucinda is predominantly grey with a blue patch on her right flank. Lucinda has good conformation with no blemishes/scars/sarcoids etc. On the flat, she moves well and is good off the leg, she has all the basics and is beginning to work in a good outline in walk, trot and canter. Lucinda is a fun little horse that is still learning so wouldn't want a total beginner rider unless experienced help was around to support them.
Lucinda is always ridden in a snaffle, including jumping and out hacking. To jump Lucinda is straight-forward, not phased by fillers etc and is jumping round courses of 80cm. Lucinda is great out hacking, goes alone or in company, not bothered by traffic and is well-behaved in open spaces.
Lucinda went to her first show recently (videos/photos in ad) with a novice rider and was super, travels well and stands on the box. Lucinda wasn't at all phased by being somewhere new and placed in both her classes.
Lucinda is good to handle, loads well, is good to catch etc. She is a low-maintenance horse, is currently un-shod and fed just haylage. No history of illness/injury. Up to date with vaccinations/worming etc. Fully passported with the "Traditional Gypsy Cob Society".
Would suit a teenager, parent-child share, lightweight adult.
Based in Leicestershire with good trial facilities. Open to sensible offers.
Event rider up to BE Advanced. We breed some of our own horses and I have a few select horses in for sales livery.
