- Honest and long post to find her the best home she deserves! Annie 16.1hh 7yo Irish Mare By Golden Master and Dam Kinelowen competed to 1.40m The kindest and most loving mare. Not mareish in the slightest and rarely see those ears go back! An absolute saint on the ground good with kids and dogs and will stand all day to be groomed and can be left for short periods of time without a worry will literally just fall asleep! Good to shoe, box, travel,dentist,I haven’t clipped her yet as only had her in the summer but cant see it being a problem! Always great to catch with a whinny to greet you. Ridden she needs a very experienced rider absolutely not a novice ride or for the faint hearted. She is very intelligent and knows if the rider isn’t capable of riding to the standard she likes. Shes a horse that cant be missed and I cant say this enough that she needs to be ridden forward. If not she will try it on specifically try plant put her head between her legs(not a bronc or buck) but will take a sharp turn to catch you out but only on transition to canter. However saying that she knows when she needs to have a sensible head on her and not to mess around but she will pick her day to test your switched on! Once you push her through and mean business she works absolutely beautifully in all paces she hasn’t done this for a while as I have figured her out and how to avoid her doing this so with time this could be easily stopped therefore selling her as a bit of a project. Has a great jump and has previously jumped up to discovery 1m with the scope to go further. She had been out of work for a while before coming to me so she is on the chunky side and just taking things slow to get her back up and running. I have taken her round 70cm clear round just for a bit of fun and behaved impeccably going clear and simply leaving me to be passenger! Snaffle mouthed at all times. She has been on a fun ride where she really enjoyed herself and could not fault her, waited patiently for her turn and baby sat a very stupid warmblood and wasnt phased one bit. If she doesnt sell then I will be hunting her this season and her price will go up as she will be so much fun. Will hack alone or in company great in all traffic can have the odd spook but nothing nasty just needs pushing forward and if going for a canter with another horse may put in a little buck on the transition but again nothing unseat worthy and never gets strong or races to be in front! She is always up for the job of being designated baby sitter for the silly ones as she never gets hot or fizzy and also happy to ride and lead. In the right hands this mare will go far which is why I will be extremely picky who she goes to shes a lot of fun and just a nice person to be around.
