Iona is a proper pony club pony
Has taken our little girl from quite a nervous hockey, to a confident keen wee rider
Iona loves pony club, loves the chat, the snacks, the variety of activities, loves camp, rallies, getting dolled up with wonky old plaits, the whole thing
She isn’t mareish, far too much drama for her, and lives out with our boys.
She’s done;
PC camps
PC area teams, showjumping and dressage,
Fun rides
TREC
XC and lots of eventer derby things
TBH I wasn’t a huge cob fan, but she’s won me over. She can stand in the field and be dragged out for a ride or competition and is just super easy.
We live on the side of a hill, so she’s used to open space and big machines, and rides up from the field bare back, and on days when we can’t be bothered to clean tack she hacks without a saddle.
She’s been exactly what we needed, a little nanny McPhee.
She’s super safe and sensible, but not a plod. She whizzes round 50-60-70 and jumps higher at home, but would struggle to jump a course of 1m.
She’s a proper old fashioned pony.
Home is key, she owes me nothing and costs me nothing to keep, so will be asking questions and after references for her potential new family.
She comes with all her kit.
