- One in a million! With the biggest of hearts! An absolute joy and total superstar! An amateur ride through and through, the type who is honest genuine and always tries to please! Has the most sane, sensible and level headed brain, is anyone’s ride and the most wonderful temperament. Casper is a approx 15.3hh rising 5yr old grey irish(full green Irish passport) gelding by the sire Dunbeggan Coevers Hill(ISH)and the dam Crannard Hazy Days(Connemara). He is beautifully conformed,built uphill with clean legs and superb feet. A super stamp and type who is so versatile and has the brain and ability to do any job. A real leg in each corner type with a rocking horse canter who feels extremely safe underneath you and is lovely to sit on, the sort very difficult to find! As you can see from his video he literally has an old head on young shoulders and has the most laid back and calm unphased nature to everything asked of him! An absolute rock solid hack! He will go behind, in front, alone and in company. Totally unphased by a busy village, others cantering past and never gets strong. Snaffle mouthed for everything including hunting! Super in the heaviest of traffic from artics, to tractors, buses and motor bikes. Great in open spaces including warm ups, the beach, the sea and used to hacking both across fields, in the woods and on the roads with lots going on. Has been ridden by a variety of riders including children and more novicey riders who have lacked confidence and has looked after them perfectly. Anyone’s ride and doesn’t take offence at a missed stride or a pull or kick at the wrong time. Doesn’t need daily riding to keep him sane, never gets sharp and doesn’t mind being picked up and put down as and when suits- he really is an amateurs dream! This lovely horse has been lightly educated across all disciplines which has left him with a lovely positive attitude towards his work and a sane and sensible brain. Has showjumped at 80/90cm, evented unaffiliated, done dressage placed 2nd on his last outing with 67% ,riding club, beach/pleasure rides and lightly hunted by a young girl who is new to hunting. He has lots of ability and is easily schooling be100 level finding it very easy, brave,bold and genuine to a fence, throws a lovely shape and stays in a sane,sensible and polite rhythm inbetween fences both showjumping and xc. Casper loves his jumping whilst having a sane and sensible head. Has never said no to anything asked of him jumps ditches, steps, water and any fillers/ water trays without any hesitation. Gives you confidence as a rider if you get it a little bit wrong he’s happy to find that extra leg to help you out. Perfect on the hunting field/hound exercise,will go first or last, great with hounds, stands well at the meet and is happy crossing all types of country from walls to hedges and everything inbetween. Doesn’t get whizzy or het up and always rides in a snaffle. Three lovely paces and understands the concept of a correct outline. Works well from the aids without being sharp and is lovely and light in the hand. Was placed on his last dressage outing and with continued education he could really go far in this sphere. Has a lovely balanced canter which is very easily to lengthen and shorten which makes jumping him very straightforward and easy. Lovely to have around on the yard! No quirks or hang ups and certainly isn’t the stressy type. Will fit into any routine, happy to live in on limited turnout or will live out. Will turnout out with mares and geldings, no vices, loves people and very low maintenance. Good to box(trailer/lorry)shoe,clip, catch and plait. Upto date with teeth, shoes, vaccines and is fit, currently out competing and ready to have lots of fun. Ideal amateur ride or U18’s/mother daughter share he’s very straightforward, not sensitive, not strong and physically an easy ride. He will literally go on and do any job! Ideal grassroots BE/BS/BD who could go on the in future up the levels if required but is the type who’s always got his ears forward and wants to please. Would also be happy hunting/riding club or a kind genuine allrounder to have fun.
