Description: Pep is 12.2h Gelding Apoloosa pony, suitable as a happy hacker, companion or lead rein only. Super easy in walk, trot and canter Happy hacking and good with traffic Loads and travels well on a lorry or trailer Great with farrier and dentist Not strong, Snaffle mouthed Pep has been my daughter’s pony for almost 2 years and in this time she has done lots with him. Dressage, jumping, fun rides, clinics and is very much a loved pony. However Pep can be unpredictable, he can be stubborn in the school/ jumping field and can buck and kick. This behaviour is inconsistent and comes from stubbornness and not wanting to be pushed forward. With this in mind he needs a strong rider/ lead rein only or a small light rider who is looking for hacking out. He lives out and is very low maintenance, always good to catch and is barefoot with a hardy coat in winter. He has never had any medical issues and has a very simple easy diet. He has only ever had 2 owners and was on loan for all of his ridden life before becoming my little girls pony. He has taught her many skills as a rider and she is now ready to move on to her next pony. Pep is a much loved quirky pony who we would like to see rehomed in a friendly environment.
