- 14.2 Connemara 10-year-old gelding. Very sad sale of our much-loved pony Martie. He is the kindest of ponies who always looks after his jockey. We’ve owned him for 5 years and done all Pony Club activities, teams, camps, clinics, NSEA competitions etc. He’ll jump 80/85cm with ease so perfect for grassroots and very careful. Latterly my daughter has concentrated on his dressage which he really excels in, competing in the intermediate dressage at the Pony Club National Championships and NSEA championships for the past three years and recently become intermediate reserve champion at the Pony Club spring Barrier Health dressage festival. Absolute pony of a lifetime would easily go BD as done many unaffiliated BD elementary tests and always placed in the top three. He works beautifully in the school with three fabulous paces, snaffle mouthed a true gentleman. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with at home and away - he will always put a huge smile on your face. He is 100% in all traffic, hacks alone and in company, box’s well (trailer& lorry) good to catch and shoe. Would be a great mother/daughter share.
