Patch is rising 7
14.1hh skewbald gelding.
He spent 3 years in a riding school from age 3-6. His talent however outshines this life style and is looking for a more allround active home.
He is bold to a jump jumping all fillers asked including water trays.
Although his jump and talent is brilliant his flat work is behind and needs some work to help him further. However does school really nicely when asked to correctly.
He’s a genuinely lovely soft pony. That adores people and attention.
He is super easy on the ground, loves being played on with and brushed. Will stand for kids. Allows my 4yr old son to climb on his back and lay on him while he is laying down in the field.
Let’s him brush him and paint his hooves and follows him around the field like a dog. Easy to catch load etc. with some further schooling and balancing up he should make a fabulous competitive pony. Equally would be happy in a family home. He’s super kind to kids and also great on the leadrein. Pops over little jumps looking after small riders.
For further progression at a higher level patch would benefit from a small adult or a confident child to help him come on.
When unbalanced or excited patch can sometimes do a singular buck.
He does not Bronc, rodeo, rear or bolt.
He’s brilliant to hack. Hasn’t done much and was at first worried with tractors for his first ever hack but soon settled and has since been out on long long hacks.
He hasn’t done as much lately due to me being really busy with the bigger horses. But has been kept ticking over/ played about and hacked by the kids.
Due to not doing so much lately and his schooling needing some more work we are currently open to negotiate
