- Beautiful 6yr approx 14.2hh connemara pony mare by led Canal Prince N//HWSD for hoof wall Princess came over from Ireland at the beginning of December having been shown the ropes in Ireland. We have steadily been working away with her since then and she has steadily improved and has been to some shows with us and been cross county schooling and beach rides. This pony is young, but showing all the signs that she is rather special, and will go on to be fun and competitive in any sphere with the right rider. She loves her hacking, both alone and in company. She has been brilliant with all traffic seen to date. She has also been to the beach with friends, proving sane and sensible in open spaces and cantering along with others and loved the water. Princess will live in or out with mares or geldings. She is currently living out in a big field with a few others, as we are limited on stables. However, she has also been regularly stabled and has no vices. She loads and travels on a trailer or wagon and happily stands on her own while you ride another. Easy to take off places and manage on your own. She certainly isn’t the backward / nappy / clingy type of youngster, she is nicely forward and off the leg, She is confident to go off on his own and do whatever is asked of her. She is a forward ride so would not be suitable for a nervous rider however she has never been dangerous. Unfortunately she dose have a blemish on her back leg however this dose not stop her performance and she will still pass a vetting. Excellent trial facilities. Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD8.
