- Dressage, Pony Club and Showing
- Very sad sale of my daughters first pony Bugsy .We have owned him for just over a year and my daughter has hopelessly outgrown him so quickly.
Bugsy ticks all the boxes as show/dressage/ridden pony . Good to shoe, catch, clip, bath, loads and travels well in the trailer and stands in/out of box when at events without any fuss. Lives in or out. Will stand to be fussed all day kind and loving. Always handled by my daughter and picks his feet out and loads him into trailer herself.
Beautifully schooled. Perfect to go back in the show ring or dressage ( my daughter is always in the ribbons ) Does jump but can be unreliable currently although his confidence is growing. Flashy little gelding, with great showing potential (competed successfully at county level with previous owners), with the sweetest nature.
He’s done all pony club activities including small jumps (but this isn’t his strength and would need further encouragement ) ; just attended pony club camp and loved every minute. . Has a lovely steady canter; with three lovely paces and looks stunning when moving across the ground ( responsive to leg but not too forward ).
He is a pick up or go type pony and can be taken from the field; groomed and then moves straight into competition or hack out.
We live in the country so he is used to all farm machinery ; happy at front or back when hacking out .
Honest pony ready for next small person to continue his education ; but wouldn’t consider him a first pony as needs a confident rider ; has taught my daughter loads and has the kindest of nature. Ridden in a snaffle so has breaks and not too strong. Potential to be great lead-rein show pony for a small jockey.
Up to date with all vacs, teeth and feet and looking for perfect five star home he deserves another little jockey to love him just as much as we do and will be sadly missed .
