Heartbreaking decision to make but unfortunately we have decided to ⛵️our lovely pony.
She is a 12.3/13hh 10yr old very eye catching coloured mare, she has been with us since August 23 and throughout this period we have tried so very hard with her! She was sold to us as the perfect 1st kids pony unfortunately this isn't the case, she would excel with a small and confident rider who is willing to push through her napping, it has now become a learnt behaviour. In more experienced hands and given time she would excel, unfortunately we just don't have the time to give her as my daughter has lost confidence . Also would be perfect as a lead rein pony, we have tried and tested this and she hasn't put a foot wrong, can be lead on the ground or from another horse. She is bomb proof not spooky and loves to hack in company will canter of the buckle in open spaces . We have been doing a lot of hacking and in hand and lunging with rider on board perfectly. Previously jumped like a dream, never refused only jumped 60cm with us but loved it.
She had ulcers which we have treated, she has scoped clear and all veterinary notes can be shared. She has no history of lameness.
She is Turned out in a mixed herd and never causes a problem, she is perfect to catch, lead and doesn't become bargy at the gates, she is fantastic to shoe (currently fronts but has been bare) and clip and has never been a problem tied up next to other horses.
We only want the best for her and to go to a home where she will be loved, therefore we have been as honest as we can be, we are open to any vetting.
