Description: Bay gelding, O Kalos Skirous. Squirrel is a 16h homered, out of a Grand Prix dressage stallion that was bred to jump (Voltaire blood lines) and a successful 4* event mare. Well balanced and forward going on the flat, polite and good in the mouth with 3 nice paces, already placed in 2 BD competitions with a work rider in the summer. Squirrel has multiple placings in 110’s and has stepped up well to 120 classes including jumping the 5 year old international classes well at Chard 2* (his first registered show) and easily has scope to jump higher. Takes on XC with his eyes closed jumping water, banks, ditches etc with a good gallop and easy rideablility (goes XC in a snaffle). All of this makes him a super horse to either be produced for top events or sold in the future to take an amateur around safely. Above is the description of Squirell when we bought him a year ago. Since then he’s been stabled with me and done frequent training shows but owner never had any desire to compete. So his bs record will show this. Owner forced to sell as moving back to china unexpectedly.
