Description: Heartbreaking sale of our much loved pony Lance Stocky, 13.3hh, Hungarian import, no recorded breeding May 2013, (10 this year) Bombproof hack including open spaces and heavy traffic. Snaffle mouth at all times. Experienced at all Pony Club and Riding Club activities including several residential camps. Has a cracking bold jump, he’s been used to ride and lead my younger child, nannied nervous horses out hacking, done pleasure and forest rides with no issues. Perfect to shoe, travel (trailer & lorry) and to clip. Very easy to have on the yard and a nice person to be around. Turns out with mares or geldings. Would happily live out, currently lives out during summer and is stabled during winter months. Never reared, kicked or bolted. Not a novice ride. Lance is masses of fun and a real character but he is not for a beginner. Can sometimes become excitable in group situations such as rallies and clinics, hence needs a confident rider but is perfectly manageable with a rider who can keep his attention and focus. Needs regular work to keep him grounded. Ideal mother/child share, easily carries a small adult up to approx 10.5/11st. Same home for last 5.5 years, ridden by eldest son initially then was out of work due to no rider for a year, recently brought back into work for younger son who is much less confident and they're just not gelling, hence for sale.
