- Looking for new home on behalf of owner as they have now moved on to next horse. Jacob has been in his current home for the past 2 years where he taken part in all pony club activities including camp, teams, rallies etc as well as NSEA/low level eventing and unaffiliated showjumping/dressage. He is a pleasure to handle- has had a 13 year old handle him since he came to us and she does absolutely everything with him no problem, a real gent to do everything with, he moves beautifully on the flat and has 3 great paces (would definitely excel in a dressage home). Although Jacob has been used as a confidence giver and pony club pony in his current home, he has previously competed BE90 and with some schooling would definitely have the potential to successfully event. Very scopey and loves his jumping but needs a bit of leg over a bolder course. He is good to hack in company but can be a bit nappy with a novice, never been a problem just needs telling, known to have the odd buck when excited. We feel as much as he is safe, he likes to take his confidence from the rider and therefore would suit a more established child/small adult looking to have some fun should he go to a competition home, alternatively he’s quiet enough to suit a more novice child wanting a safe schooling/dressage/happy hack (in company) type of pony. He is a much loved pony and will only go to the best home, we are in no rush to sell him and a suitable home is most important for us as he has been part of the family but is hopelessly outgrown so it’s time for another child to enjoy him as much as we have.
