- Stunning 9 year-old, 16hh chestnut mare by Alexandro P, a world famous dressage stallion and prolific sire with many famous and successful progeny on the dressage circuit. She’s been at the same home since a 4 year-old, and due to the owner’s work commitments still has low mileage for her age. She has three correct and uphill paces, good self carriage, and is off the leg but also doesn’t mind the odd Pony Club kick. Currently training at Medium. This mare has lots of scope to go up the levels, and potential to reach PSG with the right rider, if not higher. Due to doing only unaffiliated events, she has zero BD points which makes her perfect for someone looking for a slightly older horse with enough experience that they will be able to progress quickly. This mare should be going out scoring mid 70s at BD Novice. The reason why this mare is for sale at such a reduced price for a horse with her breeding and ability is because she can be a bit spooky sometimes, and will need a confident teenager or amateur rider who isn’t afraid to kick her on when she is being silly. There is no malice in her; never bucks, rears, or bolts, just spooky. Hacks out alone and in company and is brilliant in heavy traffic like lorries and tractors. Will stand quiet in the gateway whilst vehicles pass. Perfect manners in open spaces. Good to clip, catch, shoe, travel and with the vet. Can easily be handled by one person at shows. Ideal buyer would be a confident amateur or teenager looking to win at Petplan or BD, and wants to continue their success going up the levels with a horse that has all the scope to do so.
