Dori is a stunning registered Dartmoor mare. 6 years old. 11.2h. Was a proven lead rein pony in old home, she was professional backed and produced. Since being with myself she’s now showing herself to be a perfect little first ridden.
She’s been very lightly shown, she went out to some local shows Inhand and came back champion on each occasion. We have taken her to her first ridden show and behaved impeccable. Coming home with 1st in the first ridden and 2nd in the novice. She has also attended a dressage competition and came 4th. We will continue to get Dori out and about to shows and dressage over winter if she doesn’t get snapped up.
Hacks alone and in company, forward and enjoys her hacking, seen traffic, good in open spaces. Started to introduce pole work and jumping which she seems to enjoy.
To school Dori is push button in walk and trot holds herself naturally, beautiful movement and a dream to watch. Green in canter with her transitions but getting better with every schooling session we do with her.
On the ground Dori is good to catch, lead, tie up, groom, pick feet up ect. Very loving personality loves children and interaction. Good for the farrier, load, travel, clip ect. She is fully vaccinated and teeth are up to date.
Dori is 9/10 always perfect to handle, when she’s in season she can be in a hurry to get back to the boys but nothing my jockey couldn’t handle. Dori does suck her tounge- very random but doesn’t affect her in anyway, very sporadic about it.
5 star homes only, I am in no rush to sell this pony, future superstar which has a lot to show and give to her little jockeys. A home which loves her as much as we do is a must!
