- Castle Ellis Louis - 15hh 4 rising 5 year old beautiful dun irish gelding. Ellis has an incredibly kind and sweet nature, so lovely to be around and easy peasy to do everything with. Suited to a hacking, leisure, low level all rounder home. Ellis isnt a spooky horse, he is a very steady type that would have a go at any equestrian discipline. He isn’t sharp and would suit some one wanting to move in the slow lane. That being said being only rising 5 he is a horse you could very much make in to what you want over time. As he is would be suitable for a competent novice. He would do a riding school. He will walk, trot and canter in the arena, do trotting poles and a little cross pole. Not at all strong. Currently very kick along and will stop unless you ride him. With his age please note he isn’t the finished article and will need further guidance he hasn’t been there done that or got the t-shirt he is 4 years old, turning 5 but would struggle to find a quieter one. Ellis has recently travelled over from ireland and he does need to put a bit of top-line/ condition on, he has bags of filling out to do. As he is naturally steady we have worked him as such but he could with more miles, training and experience become more responsive and forward. He has attended training shows and arena hires and proved sensible and easy. Good to box, groom, shoe, tie up, bath, load, travel, clip, tack up, hacks alone and in company really well. Has been sensible with the traffic we have seen. He is a really lovely chap that enjoys being fussed all day, has the most incredible tail and is lovely to spend time with pampering. Looking for some one to enjoy his next chapter with. More videos on Cox equestrian facebook page and regularly updated. He is up to date with shoes, wormer, vaccinations and teeth.
