Description: Ollie - 18 years old, 16 3hh Holstein gelding, handsome bay. Looking for a quieter life, so not looking for a home to do lots of competing, but for someone to ride for pleasure, school, jump at home, hack. We’ve had Ollie since 2019 Ollie is a lovely horse to ride, not a plod but very safe, steady & unspooky, not at all sharp Lovely mover Never gets fresh, he could have 3 weeks off and come out the same, kept in or turned out makes no difference Used to be ridden by two teenage girls, and has been ridden by a variety of people of varying abilities as on the yard he’s the go to horse for people to borrow when their own horses are out of work Good to hack, better in company but will hack alone Easy to handle No vices Good doer, could live in or out Perfect to clip, shoe and load Can try to nap if he thinks he’ll get away with it, happy to discuss in full with anyone interested Ollie has some dental pathology which currently only needs monitoring, his dentals are 6 monthly Happy to share all clinical history since 2019 when we got him. I’m only selling Ollie to a loving home. I’ve lost my motivation this year due to various things, and he’s been really left by the wayside.
