- Darcey would be best suited to a hunting home or a competent riders event horse. She loves to hunt and is comfortable either in the field or up front, which she has done both very well. She would be perfect for a master or hunt servant as she’s good with hounds and jumps whatever you put in front of her with ease. She covers the country quickly with her big athletic stride and is a blood horse who can cope with the tricky terrain all day and not get tired. She has also evented at novice/2* level with an amateur rider. She has many completions under her belt and would progress up the levels with time and an experienced rider, as she’s not the most careful show jumper. She’s a forward going ride and wants to get on with the job so no novices. She’s good to shoe, box, clip and generally deal with, she is for sale due to overstocking and lack of time. References can be provided both on the hunt field or as an event horse
