- Description
- Max is a 14.1hh 8 year old Welsh x Arab gelding. He is a lovely stamp with very impressive showing breeding. A real contender for the dressage ring.
Max has been at the same home for 4 years since being broken and has always been an absolute pleasure. This has been more of a leisure home.
Max is excellent to hack alone and in company, sensible in open spaces. Schools on the flat in an arena or paddock with 3 beautiful paces. He has been out to a handful of arena hires and behaved impeccably. However, he has not yet competed due to owner preference but he has such a great attitude to his work and thrives off of it so he is right ready to jump into the competing world. He has also only jumped a handful of times as again this is his owners preference but is showing lots of scope and talent in this discipline and it’s ready to turn his hoof to anything.
Max is a lovely forward ride and comes off the leg nicely however he does take from his riders confidence so for this reason is not suitable for a nervous/novice rider.
Max is a super easy pony to have around, currently living on his own at a small yard and schools in a paddock but has also lived on a large livery yard and will just adjust and fit to whatever works. Will stand to be groomed, bathed, clipped with no headcollar on. Good for farrier, dentist, vet.
Travels well however does take a minute to load purely down to not seeing a lorry very much. He also has that typical Welsh personality and will sometimes through faces around food or in the stable however these are also harmless empty threats which never put anyone off.
He has got one cosmetic scar on his back leg which was done before he came to us.
Max is extremely loved and will only go to the best forever home, for this reason we have been super honest and priced him sensibly and including his full tack.
Please no time wasters this decision is absolutely heartbreaking but due to owners time, money and now health it is no longer possible to keep him.
