- This is a very sad and honest sale of a special mare. We have owned Tilly for nearly 3 years now and she has enjoyed this time mostly hacking and taking part in various pony club rallies/ mounted games/ group lessons and camps. Bombproof out hacking, good with traffic/ lorries/ farm machinery. She will hack alone or in company and goes front or back. She has showjumped up to 80cm but is more comfortable jumping around 50/60cm courses. She has done cross country schooling with us, mini ODE and loves a fun ride. She has been hunted in her previous home. Tilly has shown a lot of potential in her dressage; she competed at PC area dressage 2022 and coped with the busier atmosphere like a pro. Alongside this she recently did a pony club musical ride at the flower show in Shrewsbury. She scrubs up well when required! She is sweet in the stable and loves a fuss, she will stand for hours to be groomed! Tilly is currently turned out with a gelding. She comes to call from the field and has been handled by children young and old. Tilly is straight forward to load onto a trailer, good to catch/clip/shoe and is up to date on vaccinations/ worming, dentist and physio. She settles down to look after younger riders and even looks after mum when she hacks her out! Never sad or sorry for herself, just enjoys having a job to do. What you need to know about Tilly; -she is forward when jumping. Due to this she is not a novice ride, but this can be managed with a confident rider. -she can sometimes throw in a buck when excited -she dislikes other horses getting too close when ridden ( ears back as a warning) -Tilly is the type that needs an active home where she can have some fun and show a younger/ small rider the ropes. - A pony club home/ mother daughter share or happy hacking home would really suit her. -Tilly comes with a varied wardrobe of rugs and a specially fitted bridle. Her saddle is also available. ⭐️Tilly has been a super star with us and we will be sad to see her move on. However, she now needs a new family who will love her just as much as we have. 💜 She will only go to the best of homes. Viewings welcomed.
