- 13HH, 8 year old mare. Ultimate Pony Club Pony
Cherry has been with us for 3 years, and is now hopelessly outgrown. If she was a couple of hands bigger we would never part with her. Cherry is a first/second pony. She can look after a little person and will step up a gear when asked and be a fun allrounder.
Cherry has proven to be a very versatile pony. She has done pony club rallies and camp. She has turned her hoof to just about anything. She has hunted, show jumped, done cross country, dressage, dressage to music, beach rides and even had shot of horseback archery.
In the past year Cherry has represented her pony club at Areas doing dressage and 70cm show jumping. As well as qualifying for regionals, she strutted her stuff doing dressage at JCB Pony Club championships in the summer.
Cherry has also qualified for Spring Festival 2025.
Cherry has had weekly lessons at home and has attended numerous dressage, jumping and cross country training at various venues.
Cherry is the easiest to do in all ways. Good catch, always the first one up to you in the field. She is well mannered, a joy to handle on the ground and loves attention.
Good to load, travel, and stand on the trailer.
She is good to bath and groom. She is polite around the vet, dentist and farrier (barefoot and has never needed shoes despite a lot of hacking on rough tracks).
Up to date with everything. She can be clipped standing untied and is good all over including face.
Cherry has enjoyed a lot of hacking with us and she loves going out for hours with a picnic. She is good in all traffic and other scary things one might come across.
Cherry is a very loving and affectionate pony and has a big fan club! Everyone who meets Cherry loves her. She really is a child’s best friend.
She is never sick or sorry, she has never seen the vet with us for anything apart from vaccinations.
We think the world of this pony and will only let her go to the right home.
