- 13-year-old liver Chestnut mare thoroughbred X Welsh. This smart little mare is essentially two horses in one package. Bought as first horse by inexperienced first time buyer … shes been superb for lessons, hacking, developing experience towards dressage .. Her past includes eventing and hunting with a teenager, prior to that nine years in the same home doing hacking/ dressage. Although lightweight and narrow , she has incredibly big paces for a small horse and a floating, dreamy canter , that everyone who sits on her loves . Since with us, she has brought along a relatively inexperienced adult incredibly quickly. She will jump anything you put in front of her, non-spooky, brave and very scopey, but she is fast and not a novice ride for Jumping . However she’d be brilliant for hunting and team chasing for an experienced person.
