- Qualified for 2022 PC Champs in Open SJ, Eventing Tet (Winner) and intermediate Dr. By OBOS Quality Double clear at BE Novice Spud was brought as a 4yr old for a 14yr old who has produced him up the levels. He has been her horse of a life time and they have done everything together, gaining over the years to many prizes to mention ! He has done Eventing, Tetrathlon, Hunting (with Beaufort) and Team chased. Eventing he is very bold and brave XC (without pulling your arms out) and has only ever had one stop in his career due to rider error of course. He can produce a lovely test with great presence in the arena. Spud has hunted a handful times over the last couple of seasons and always been sensible, stands well doesn't hot up in the group. With another season under his belt he would undoubtedly cross the biggest country with ease. Team chasing he was very sensible leading or following. He is easy to deal with on the yard, he is a very relaxed character day to day and is good to clip, box, shoe, groom etc Spud has never been sick or sorry and is happy to live in or out. Recently passed a 5 stage vetting in February ( for insurance) Despite his experience and being managed and ridden by a teenager, he is very much a competition horse who would not suit a novice rider. He is looking for brave and competent jockey who he can progress through the levels with. With Spud still only being 9 he still has a lot more untapped potential .
