- We are still searching for the ideal candidate to join our highly respected Nutrition Team at TopSpec. Would you like to be part of a highly innovative horse feed company that is renowned throughout the equestrian and veterinary industry for the nutritional integrity of its products? We are seeking an individual who is passionate about equine nutrition and welfare, to join our team of nutritionists. We take pride in the support we offer our customers by helping their horses, as well as retailers, vets, other equine professionals, and our own sales team. This largely office-based role focuses on our Multiple Award-Winning-Helpline, which has been recognised by winning the BETA Award for ‘Excellence in Nutritional Advice and Customer Service’ an unrivalled thirteen times. Other roles include retailer and sales team training and support, writing articles for the equestrian press, producing POS technical information, producing information on sacks, tubs and all labels ensuring that they are legally compliant, quality control, forage sampling, and occasionally working on trade stands and supporting the sales team with technical advice on yards. The successful candidate should have a good degree in animal nutrition or animal/equine science or veterinary science, with a strong equestrian background that includes experience in at least two of the equestrian disciplines. Experience within the equine industry will be beneficial. With an excellent salary, commensurate with experience; fabulous spacious offices positioned in the countryside, located 2 miles from the A1, between Ripon and Thirsk.
