Description: Much loved 12.3hh (128cm JMB LHC) WELSH Sec B Gelding. From the Stockham bloodline. Rising 17yrs. Wonderful sweet nature, box, shoe, clip etc. Great to hack and safe in open spaces. My eldest daughter has taken him cantering with her friends and he happily tucks in behind and pops along. Fab with other horses, no stable vices. Has done all PC activities with us, including PC camp with a tall 9yr old girl. Has won lots of little PC and unaffiliated SJ competitions up to 70cm. Has also been ridden at home and hacked by a novice 6yr old. Would happily do a lead rein job, but off the lead rein, in competition, he is more forward, so needs a more established rider to have lots of fun with. In his youth he had a successful BS, BD and eventing career. We haven’t competed at this level, but he has lots of quality and a wonderful scopey jump. He is fit and ready to enjoy the summer with a new jockey. He had a successful cautionary back procedure in 2024, his vertebrae was NOT kissing, image of the X-ray available, he also has some melanomas which have remained unchanged in the last nearly 2 yrs of ownership, this has been reflected in his asking price and he is open to any further vetting.
