Description: Yougi A beautiful 15.1hh skewbald irish gelding. 4 years old. Yougi has a beautiful temperament and is a very easy horse to have on the yard. He settles really well, hasn’t been bothered by horses moving round the yard or being turned out while he’s in etc. Easy to muck out around, polite, good to groom, bath, handle, tie up, load and travel, shoe, he doesn’t kick the door, or walk any poo round the bed! A very easy muck out. He is a really nice person and i love spending time with him. He’s such gentle sole. Yougi hacks alone and in company, up front or behind and on the buckle if wanted. He has been good with the traffic he’s seen here proving very sensible and mature. He has 3 lovely paces in the school and moves really nicely. Stands to mount from block or gates out hacking or from the ground. We have taken him to arena hires, xc schooling, lessons and dressage. To which he has behaved really well, he acts like a much older horse. He isn’t stressed by travelling or going to a new place so is a joy to take out and about. He ties up to the trailer and relaxes. Yougi has popped show jumps and cross country jumps, steps, ditches, water and shows plenty of ability. He is brave and confident for his age, not at all been over jumped hut incredibly genuine. I have just taken him to Radfords equestrians beginners one day event 25/05/25. Which he placed 3rd out of 12. Perfectly behaved as always on outings. Videos available. He has completed dressage intro 2 scoring 63.18. Intro 3 scoring 67.3 and Prelim 1 scoring 67.4 percent very recently 7/6/25. Some one that can walk trot and canter independently please as he is 4 years old, but as sensible as a younger horse could be, there wouldn’t be a difference between him and a horse a couple of years older, he is really well rounded and seen the world. He isn’t bothered about other horses cantering off ahead in open spaces, incredibly calm in group environments. There are no nasties at all, he is a gentleman. He will wait and go at your speed. Qualities yougi has are really hard to find. He would be suited to a mother/ daughter share or a small adult wanting to hack, have lessons, clinics, fun ride, riding club, pony club, showing and such like, thats what he is doing now. He is up to date with shoes, wormer, teeth and vaccinations. Viewings available sy22. Open to vets and trainers.
