Description: Tamzin Appaloosa X 12yo Mare VIDEO LINKED (YOUTUBE) Tamzin is a bold, fun and full of personality who has been part of our family since she was five. I brought her on as a six year old and enjoyed many years with her, and she’s even been ridden by my mum. She has been out on loan to a competent teenager who both competed and hunted her but due to final year school commitments she was no longer able to continue. Tamzin is an intelligent mare, she enjoys a confident pilot and thrives when she has variety in her routine. She prefers getting out and doing a job rather than circling round the school endlessly, and she will always tell you honestly what she thinks, one of the things we’ve always loved about her personality. Out and about, she is proven and brave on the hunting field, having completed two seasons with the Cambridge University Drag Hounds as well as days with the Berks & Bucks Draghounds. She’s taken part in fun rides, hunter trials, team chasing scurry leagues, and even won the Northaw Charity Race. She has also competed up to 90cm unaffiliated showjumping. Tamzin will hack alone but prefers company, good in traffic. On the yard she is excellent to shoe, brilliant to clip, I clipped her loose in the stable this year and, she travels happily alone in both a box and a trailer. After many wonderful years together I have made the decision to sell Tamzin as due to having a former racehorses, I don't have time for both. She will suit someone who enjoys a clever mare with plenty of personality and who loves to get out and do things. She has given us so much fun and is ready to do the same for her next family and hopefully a forever home. Tamzin is ready for a forever home.
