Description: A very well bred true to type 9 year old, 14.2hh Connemara mare. KT is safe and affectionate, a pleasure for all the family to handle. Exceptionally easy to handle on the ground. Turns out with mares or geldings, living in or out. Used mostly as a mother/daughter hunting and hacking horse. She is a safe ride (lady in 60s with double hip replacement regularly rides her) doesn’t buck/rear/spin excellent brakes in all situations, so safe she can even be ridden in a halter. Lovely to hack out and takes the lead. Will hack alone just a little green and takes reassurance from her rider. Seen all traffic (cars, vans, tractors, bin lorries, etc.) with no issues. She is also good ride and lead from another horse, or will take a pony out on lead whilst being ridden. Up to date with farrier, vaccinations, dentist, deworming. Negative for Hoof Wall Disease. Passed a 5-stage vetting in September 2025. Excellent breeding and conformation. 3 x 80 scores for conformation, breed standard, and movement. Pedigree includes: Calowfeenish Mairtin and Abbeyleix Owen. Sire: Park Ronan. Dam: By the famous Templebready Fear Bui; herself in the dam line of Class 1 stallion Ross Joe. Will make a great asset to any all-rounder home. Not currently hunting fit but enjoys hunting and has a great jump. A good one to prepare for next season! Hampshire based.
