Description: We’re looking for a new sharer for our sweet boy due to our sharer for the last four years sadly moving away! Merry is a gorgeous full Arab gelding with a heart of gold. He takes everything in his stride and is fantastic to school, hack and jump. He hacks alone and in company and is excellent on the roads, in traffic, and with dogs and children. He also has wonderful ground manners and is happy to be groomed, tacked up, led and loves being around people. He’s based at a lovely yard near Claygate, which has all of the main facilities; rubber sand school, jumps, kitchen/toilet facilities and access to miles of hacking around Claygate, Arbrook, Esher and Oxshott commons. There are also occasional clinics (for example liberty and dressage) which you would be welcome to take part in. Merry is now 20, but don’t let that put you off as he’s a typical Arab and has plenty of go! The picture of us jumping was taken over Easter weekend. He is sensitive to aids and soft-mouthed, so we are looking for an experienced rider (age 18 plus, max weight 12 stone) to enjoy him 2-3 days a week. We are flexible with times and days, so visits on either the weekends or during the week is fine. A financial contribution is required and stable duties – luckily, he’s very clean so only takes a few minutes to muck out!
