- Grey dawn (Athena) is a beautiful grey mare 15.2hh rising 14 years. She has the kindest nature and is a responsive, forward, but totally safe ride. She is well schooled and very well mannered both in the arena, out hacking and in open spaces. She loves to hack and is 100 percent to hack both alone and in company and in all traffic. She is not at all spooky. She is also able to do light schooling and would be suitable for an amateur aiming for some low level dressage up to prelim. She does not need riding every day and can be picked up and put down when you want. She is also lovely to handle in all ways and equally loves being brushed and pampered so is suitable to handled and ridden by all the family. Very good doer and happy to live in or out. She is fit and well but does have a slightly, wonky pelvis (seen by vet) which means she is not suitable for very hard work or jumping, but is very comfortable and happy doing hacking, light schooling and being someoneās best friend.Totally suitable for older rider and will look after a Novice. No vices, never bucks, rears, spins etc. Good to box, shoe, clip, catch, load etc. new home needed sadly due to owners ill health.
