- 11.2hh 9yo Welsh section A chestnut gelding Fantastic children’s pony, Bobby does it all, from looking after kids on the lead rein to jumping courses and doing dressage tests. Bobby is happy to step up or down to suit rider. Bobby is a very smart pony and moves well. He has good conformation, and works in a nice frame. Has shown to county level successfully. He has also regularly competed and won in dressage. He has done all pony club activities including camp, polocross, xc and mounted games. Bobby also doesn't mind being dressed up in any fancy dress outfit! Great out hacking, good in traffic, even hacked both under and over the m4! Good in open spaces. Both with others and alone. To ride he responds nicely off the leg with good breaks and a soft mouth. He hasn’t done lots of jumping with his owners as they prefer dressage and showing. With us he is happily jumping around courses up to 60cm both SJ and XC. He’s not been phased by any fillers either. And could be a really nice WHP prospect. Good to do on the ground, good for small children to handle. Good to load and bath. Good for the farrier and dentist. Not perfect to clip but owner has fully clipped him with trimmers. Good when sedated to clip. No history or Lami, lameness or colic. Can be ear shy, but this doesn't effect him in day to day life, kids can still put his head collar on etc. Bobby has been in the same home for 5 years. Very sad sale but child has now outgrown him. Seen at livery (due to owners lack of time for viewings)
